Apply for the ‘Continuing Studies’ Certificate

Through this service, students and parents of Public Schools and Adult Education (night school and home school) in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi can obtain the ‘Continuing Studies’ Certificate. This certificate specifies that the student is still in school until the date for which the request was made. ADEC typically only offers this service for Public School students. In some cases (please see note below), we are also able to offer this service to Private School students.
Important Note: Private School students and parents are only eligible to apply for this service through one of ADEC’s Customer Service Centers if their Private School is closed during official holidays and the Private School student or the parent has proof of tuition payment.

Process Steps

Public School students or their parents can apply for the attested certificate online, at on one of the Authorized Public Schools or at one the ADEC Customer Service Centers / TAMM Centers. The authorized Public Schools will be closed during official holidays.
 
E-services
The attested certificate can be requested online. To apply online, please follow the below steps:
1.     Click on the online services link and register / login. You will need to use your Abu Dhabi eGovernment Gateway[BM3]  account to login
2.     Add the relevant service request(s) and submit order
3.     Provide information on delivery location
4.     Enter credit card information for payment processing
5.     Receive the requested documentation via courier to specified delivery location

Static Services
If visiting one of the authorized Public Schools, please follow the below steps:
1.     Visit the Academic Registrar at the school and wait to be received by him/her.
2.     Inform the Academic Registrar of the request to apply for the attested certificate.
3.     Provide the Academic Registrar with the name of the relevant student, grade number, name of the school, and academic year (provide the student number if available)
4.     Present your valid Emirates ID card (the student’s or parent’s Emirates ID card must be presented)
5.     Pay the relevant attestation fee
6.     Collect the issued and attested certificate
 
If visiting one of the ADEC Customer Service Centers / TAMM Centers , please follow the following steps:
1.     Visit the ADEC Customer Service Center / TAMM Center
2.     Take the relevant ticket from the queuing machine and wait for your ticket number to be called
3.     Once your number is called, inform the customer service representative of the request to apply for the attested certificate
4.     Provide the customer service representative with the name of the relevant student, grade number, name of the school, and academic year (provide the student number if available)
5.     Present your valid Emirates ID card (the student’s or parent’s Emirates ID card must be presented)
6.     Pay the applicable attestation fees
7.     Collect the issued and attested certificate (this can be received in-person or via courier according to your preference)

Special Conditions

The certificate is issued only if the student is still enrolled for the current academic year. In case the student is rejected from the Public School or Adult Education Center for which he/she is enrolled in or he/she has withdrawn their file, the certificate will not be issued
